The hotel is in a great location, close to all the nightlife in Derry, and offers luxury at an affordable price with inclusive amenities such as Wi-Fi, breakfast, and parking. The rooms, although old and shabby, were quiet with no disturbances from outside noise but did have a lingering smell of smoke due to being non-smokers. The service was mixed, with some friendly members like Orla, but others were unfriendly and inattentive. The light continental breakfast, while serving basic needs, was overpriced at £5.25 for just cereals and toast. The facilities were adequate for a short stay.

The location of the hotel is the only bonus as it is within walking distance to everything, but the rooms need updating badly with noise issues and cleanliness concerns. Although the service was friendly, there were some missed opportunities for recommendations. The dining options were limited and overpriced, but the continental breakfast sufficed for most guests. The facilities need attention and improvement.

I was very impressed with the high standards of cleanliness all over the hotel. However, the room was a bit cold and noisy due to single glazed windows. The hotel is up to normal Travelodge standards, but they should avoid assigning rooms next to each other through connecting doors, especially when I specifically asked for a quiet room.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were large and quiet but had a grungy feeling with a fusty smell and an awkward bed arrangement. The service was friendly and helpful, but one staff member had a noticeable body odor. The location was central, right in the heart of the city, but felt fairly cheerless at times. The dining experience was ordinary and overpriced. Facilities were adequate but not exceptional.

The hotel is centrally located, within easy walking distance of the walled town, surrounded by cafes, and with a very affordable winter sale rate. The spacious rooms were immaculately clean, but there was a noticeable odor requiring constant ventilation. The service was mixed, with some staff being friendly while others showed little interest in guests. Dining, though at an additional cost, was considered good, with minor drawbacks. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money with good facilities.
