The hotel is in a great location, close to all the nightlife in Derry, and offers luxury at an affordable price with inclusive amenities such as Wi-Fi, breakfast, and parking. The rooms, although old and shabby, were quiet with no disturbances from outside noise but did have a lingering smell of smoke due to being non-smokers. The service was mixed, with some friendly members like Orla, but others were unfriendly and inattentive. The light continental breakfast, while serving basic needs, was overpriced at £5.25 for just cereals and toast. The facilities were adequate for a short stay.

The location of the hotel is the only bonus as it is within walking distance to everything, but the rooms need updating badly with noise issues and cleanliness concerns. Although the service was friendly, there were some missed opportunities for recommendations. The dining options were limited and overpriced, but the continental breakfast sufficed for most guests. The facilities need attention and improvement.
